What: Homewood Stories
When: Tuesday July 14, 2026
Doors open at 6:30 PM
Show starts at 7:30 PM
Where: Flossmoor Community Church Community House
847 Hutchison Road, Flossmoor, IL 60422
How much: $15 admission. Cash at the door. No credit cards.
What to expect:
Experience this local live show and see what happens when we turn off our phones, gadgets, screens and distractions to sit and listen...really listen to stories that connect us all! There will be 5 storytellers sharing their personal stories with the audience.
BYOFAB (Bring your own Food and Beverages) bring beverages, dinner, snacks…whatever you need to support yourself during the show.

All Homewood Stories shows honor the memory of the founder of Homewood Stories, Dr. Karen O’Donnell.
I learned that leadership has less to do with titles or rank, or chasing attention, than with helping others find their voice, reaching their potential. and sitting around people's kitchen tables or on their back porches, spending time in church basements and barbershops I was reminded that everyone has a story to tell if you just care to listen. Sacred stories full of courage and humor and grace and that each of those stories in some way connected to my own.
